Intimate Conversations- Highlights with Paula Galli
Paula Galli, a certified holistic nutritionist, joined me on Intimate Conversations last night and we covered a wide range of topics as we talked about the different opportunities we have to “love” our bodies; from healthy foods to self pleasuring.
We also talked about the changes of what we appreciate about our body as we go through different stages of our lives and how no matter what your age or circumstance, your beauty is unshakeable when it comes from within.
After struggling for years with low self-esteem, anxiety, taunting perfectionism and an eating disorder, Paula understands first hand just how difficult life can be when you are not comfortable in your own skin and your mind is not in alignment to the person that you truly are.
Paula received her Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. After she decided that a traditional psychology career was not the path she wanted to take, she received her Life Coaching Certification. Through her own yoga and mediation practices in Canada, as well as in Thailand and Indonesia, she has grown to appreciate and understand the enormous value that yoga and other holistic approaches of healing have not only for our bodies, but for our minds. Paula also believes that our energy fields and centres, known as our chakras, play a vital part in our overall health and well-being. This is why alongside receiving her Level-One Reiki Certification, she began studying at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver and became a Certified Nutritional Practitioner.
Paula choose this yes, but on some level she feels it has been chosen for her. Helping individuals learn how to fall in love with themselves through holistic means is her duty, her requirement and her purpose.
