We Ended When Our Son Died

SIDS – Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.  In 2013, more than 1,500 children under the age of 1 fell victim to SIDS.  Each year, there are more than 3,500 SUIDs (Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths).  No one is to blame, no one is at fault, but how do you recover from such a tragic lost, how do you stand united while falling part?

Staying strong for your family, getting through your day for the sake of your children, while trying to hold it together, while trying to keep your mind from wondering, blaming, accusing, and reminiscing.  It is a lot for one person but you mask the pain and continue.  Now, your oldest children is about to leave the nest.  What do you do?  How do you face your beloved alone and allow the healing to begin?
