You have been married for a year. You have survived the first year jitters, the fights, the adjustments, and have reached the promise land – compromise. You love each other as much now as the day you were married, but something is missing. Two is great, but what about three? Is it time to add that little bundle of joy to your family?
We can prepare for the tax season, we can prepare for the holidays, but you can’t prepare for children (if we did, we wouldn’t have them – the cost alone would make you change your mind!) No one is ever truly ready to have children, there won’t be a perfect time, your ducks won’t line up in a row to create the ideal opportunity. It just doesn’t work that way. Kids are synonymous with the unknown – that is what makes them unique.
