Women and Wine~ From a psychological perspective of pleasure.
While I did consider becoming a Sommalier the first time I tasted Opus One, I am simply a wine loving Intimacy Expert who gives women permission for pleasure.
While I grew up watching my parents drink out of wine in a box in the fridge, I will always be grateful to my first husband who taught me to become a proud wine snob.
When I see wine I see music, the treble and base clef, it dances in my mouth and awakens dormant parts of me, pleasure seems to make my Self Worth soar.
For women, I believe wine can awaken your class, your sensuality, your sultry confident nature to courageously say Yes when you mean Yes, and No when you mean No.
Given I’m an Intimacy Expert I can’t help but notice the shape of a well designed wine glass being that of a woman’s womb, the seat of her creativity, the core of her feminine power, reminding her she’s not a piece of meat, but a work of Art.
A cool glass of chardonnay at sunset after a long day coaching clients around the world, makes me feel like a succulent Queen. A bold earthy rich glass of Bordeaux at dinner takes my conversation deeper, more connected.
Even thanking my neighbor for watching my cat with a bottle of wine speaks to the depth of feelings of gratitude I have for her generosity.
I welcome all things that stop my spinning mind, that open my luscious heart, that remind me of savoring the moments and celebrate the deliciousness of being a woman.>
