Q: My kids are running circles around me and I feel like I don’t have control anymore. The worst part is the judgment that comes from those around me. We live in a small town and I can hear the whispers and I just want to hide behind a rock. I just want to exclaim to them, “THEY’RE KIDS!” What should I do?
A: Clearly, allowing other people’s judgments get to you is not going to help anything. Judging yourself isn’t going to help either. Ask yourself what is possible? How can you have a health control? A healthy guidance for your children? What structures and systems can you put in place help you to have peace and be honored and respected as a mother?
