This week on Intimate Conversations I was honored to have Christine Trice of OMGISONEEDWINE fame! This lady was a-maz-ing and I had the best time talking to her! Christine leads a fabulous mantra and message that she shared with all of us. I promise you that Christine is the true embodiment of the domestic Goddess but also so, so much more. I hope that you were able to tune into this call. If you weren’t able to make this call, log into your dashboard to hear it at http://www.AllanaPratt.com/members, or sign up for access to Intimate Conversations LIVE and your very own dashboard at http://www.AllanaPratt.com/conversations
Christine is a thirty-something urban mom of two strong willed & very intelligent daughters & married to an uber hot UPS man for over 15 years. She’s lived in Northern California pretty much her entire life. She loves SUP, yoga, wine, quiet moments with(out) her children, wine, sarcasm, wine with girlfriends & date night (to mention a few). She’s snarky, she dislikes mean people & their attitudes & doesn’t do well with people who can’t laugh at themselves… because it’s inevitable that at some point she will be laughing at them, too!
Christine has been a crazy entrepreneur for about 15 years. Did she mention that her husband is a very patient man??? By trade she is a perinatal massage therapist in Sacramento, CA and she works mostly with OBGYN’s and contract with a local hospital to see their high risk & mamas of multiples. Christine loves being a pregnancy massage therapist & supporting women with their beautiful transition into parenthood! Christine also launched an organic product company in 2000, Brown Bag Botanicals. After ten years of plugging away (& after more gray hairs than she’d care to count), Whole Foods is her newest retailer! Woo hoo!
Christine is a volunteer junkie. She sit on a few boards & she always seems to be neck deep in charity projects. Her husband is convinced that she’s mastered the art of “working for free” & does it very well. She takes it as a compliment. Christine truly believes that any & all of us are capable of helping at least one other person in a day. If her children were to learn just that one lesson, Christine knows that she’s done a good job.
OMG I So Need A Glass of Wine was birthed from a true “mommy moment”. Christine was doing a bit of freelancing for a local parenting mag and both she and the publisher were doing a final press check over the phone to accommodate both our crazy schedules. It was holiday break and the kids were beyond restless. Insert screaming kids in background WWF style girl fighting. Now insert uncorking of nearest bottle of wine. Voila! She suddenly had an epiphany to create a platform where other moms (& dads for that matter) could come together & talk about the real day to day of parenting without worrying about judgment. We’ve all been there! Now let’s keep it real. In the end we feel better about ourselves & that reflects in our parenting.
Christine loves wine. And she believes drinking a glass of wine should be an event, whether it’s a quiet moment solo in your living room or a simple gathering with your BFFs. Wine should be celebrated as we should celebrate who we are & all that we do as women and as parents. We shouldn’t be intimated when choosing a wine. Wine isn’t meant to be complicated. In Christine’s opinion a good wine will pair well with left over spaghetti any day of the week.
