Allana Pratt, a captivating storyteller, on-air talent, and gifted coach, is authentically interested in people. People say they can see it in her eyes. Family and relationship expert, international speaker, and on-air talent, Pratt received her training from the most qualified sources—an Ivy League education, celebrity interviews, and foreign venues. Her composure and ability to handle the unpredictable landed her coveted assignments at CNN, roles as spokesperson for prestigious companies like Sanyo, Canon, and Toyota, and as a correspondent for NHK-TV Japan, for the Ginza Update to promote Japanese fashion internationally in her early twenties.

As a small town Canadian girl, Pratt hopped on her Uncle Phil’s semi at 19 to live her dreams in Hollywood. Visa issues led her to Japan where she excelled as an international spokesperson and model on magazine covers, runways, billboards, music videos, movies, and TV. Pratt graced the runways for Courege, Reebok, Lancome, and L’Oreal, and the corporate boardroom screens of Toyota, TYR, and Air Canada.

Having savored numerous cultures, she was drawn to the Big Apple and graduated Cum Laude in Art History from Columbia University while working at CNN Showbiz. Moving to the west coast, Pratt married her skills to produce, write, and host a cultural arts program. She represented the American Women in Radio and Television as their celebrity host and interviewer and invited Member of the Board, and hosted various infomercials, webcasts, DVD’s, multi-speaker events, tradeshows, and workshops.

As an interviewer, Pratt intensely held Whoopi Goldberg’s attention, moved Camryn Manheim to nostalgic tears, touched Delta Burke such that she held Pratt’s hand during the interview, shared Columbia alumni stories with Dr. Laura, inspired author SARK to comment that Pratt’s was a top five interview, connected as dancers with Debbie Allen, and welcomed Marlee Matlin’s coaching to effortlessly interview the hearing-impaired. She is comfortable interviewing the majority of LA or a handful of precious preschoolers, the Consulate General or the homeless. In Allana’s presence people weep, laugh, and reveal truths they have not even revealed to themselves.

Recognizing her love of people and relationships, Pratt accepted an invitation to head coach the “Self Expression & Leadership” program with Landmark Education, was ranked in the top 1% of Coaches with T. Harv Eker’s Peak Potential Training, and was the first female All Women’s Team Head Coach with Sarano Kelley’s The GAME. She was the captivating relationship expert that brought a couple to heartfelt tears on TLC’s That Ying Yang Thing, heard regularly on LeezaLIVE and Hollywood Confidential while being the official life coach to Leeza on Dancing with the Stars.

In 2008 she launched her now internationally selling book How to Be and Stay Sexy. Her next book is with the editors, The Missing Handbook to Motherhood. Allana’s been on Talk Philly, Lisa Garr’s The Aware Show, and is a regular on FOX 5 in San Diego and LA Talk Radio.

She hosts the #1 rated weekly radio show How Mama Got Her Groove Back and has launched www.RedefiningSexuality.com, a revolutionary online destination membership for women to receive the support, insight, guidance, and inspiration on how to “Be and Stay Sexy” in a sensual, sassy, engaging, and empowering environment. Men find encouragement, support, and fuel for their nobility, confidence, and legacy at Allana’s site for men, www.GetHerToSayYes.com.

Pratt coaches an exclusive base of international clients in groups, privately and in full-day intensives. She leads teleclasses and webinars, and speaks professionally at local colleges and around the world. On a grass roots level in LA, Allana leads a team of interns from Cal Poly Pomona. Nationally, she sits as an Advisory Council Member for the National Association for Moms in Business. Internationally, she’s an Ambassador and Advocate for Sexual Safety and Healing with www.HealingBridges.com, empowering young refugee women who have been genitally mutilated to know they are not a piece of meat, but a piece of art.

Pratt feels she has the greatest job on earth. She loves her clients fiercely and is grateful for her supportive magnificent team. Having left her beloved Canada, Allana must admit she is thrilled to live in sunny LA and only shovels driveways when visiting family. She’s humbled and honored to raise her amazing boy, Gabriel.

Personal Journey

While the accent’s basically gone, I am a small town Canadian girl who loved guys with big trucks, Crispy Crunch chocolate bars, and walks in the woods. I was raised by a teacher mother and pharmacist father who divorced. While I enjoyed summers at the lake, most of my school years were spent feeling misunderstood for my expression, my enthusiasm, and my quirks. After receiving encouragement from my grandmothers, I found the courage at 19-years-old to hop on my Uncle Phil’s semi to live my dreams in Hollywood. While I was brave enough and talented enough, I didn’t have a work visa so the only job I could find was working in Japan. This exploded into four years as a successful model, dancer, and spokesperson on TV, magazine covers, runways, billboards, movies, and music videos.

I arrived with $40 and lived in a cockroach-infested shack shared with fourteen other foreigners. By year four I was making more money than both my parents combined. It was there I met my first husband: a tall, dark, and handsome multimillionaire. I followed him to NYC where we married. I graduated cum laude from Columbia University and worked for CNN, yet I was dying inside. While I loved my husband, in hindsight I don’t really think I knew what love was and I was afraid to pass up such a great guy and a picture-perfect life. As I became a deeper, more sensual, and empowered woman, I was no longer a fit for the relationship and we divorced.

A few years later, I had bought my own condo and was working as a life coach yet couldn’t seem to make a tumultuous relationship work when I found out my mom had cancer. It all happened so fast. In ten days she was gone, and the next weekend I got pregnant at my sister’s wedding. Since I couldn’t save her, I tried to save the relationship. This too ended in divorce, single motherhood, retreating inside my home until I sold it in debt, and I hit rock bottom.

The journey to regain my confidence, self-trust, and self-love resulted in a workable and honoring relationship with my former husband, a flourishing relationship with my son, and my successful career as a family and relationship expert.

Not only have I been a regular on Leeza Gibbon’s LeezaLIVE and national show Hollywood Confidential, I was her official life coach for Dancing with the Stars. What a delight!

For two years I hosted my #1 rated radio show called How Mama Got Her Groove Back. Now I host a weekly live webcast on MingleMediaTV.com, empowering women’s authentic sensuality (and a few men join us too)! I’m a regular TV and radio expert on CBS and FOX News, a published author with my story Thank God I am a Single Motherless Mom, my most internationally-selling eBook/audio book set, which is becoming THE manual for unleashing a woman’s sensuality called How To Be And Stay Sexy~ Attracting The Love And Attention You Deserve Being Exactly Who You Are. My next book is at the editors, The Missing Handbook to Motherhood – It’s not about getting your groove back, it’s about birthing a whole new delicious you!

I am a professional speaker, I coach an exclusive base of international clients in groups, privately, and full-day intensives. My vibrant, heartfelt message empowers women and moms to cultivate their confidence and inner radiance at www.RedefiningSexuality.com and men to be confident and noble at www.GetHerToSayYes.com.

My bottom line is that by treating myself like I would the person who I admire and cherish most in the world–by giving myself permission for pleasure and feelings like a piece of art–I have been able to stop spinning in my head and drop into my heart. I’ve ended my addiction to being a frustrated victim to my circumstances. I am willing to take responsibility for everything, forgive myself, and celebrate my journey, authentically with humility and gratitude.

Don’t be afraid to hit rock bottom. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I now have a peace and trust in my belly that I’ve never known before… and I can honestly say that I feel happiness radiating from within that penetrates any outer circumstance. I am at peace with who I am (and who I’m not) and it came from facing all the shadows where I hated myself, was embarrassed, was avoiding and pretending… now it’s all revealed and thus healed… and it’s all good.

Cellulite and all. Two ex-husbands and all. Single motherless motherhood and all. This is my wish for you. Total peace with who you are so that you know you are a Radiant Divine Goddess or a Noble King. Period. This begins with loving yourself, forgiving yourself, nourishing yourself, and then giving the authentic gift of YOU to the Universe.

All my love, deliciously yours,

Allana
